I began my career some 10 years ago working as a Ward Clerk for Transform Cosmetic Surgery, I later moved to Surgicare Medical Group and worked my way through the ranks to become Business Manager and later Group Business Manager to the acquiring company, The Hospital Group. As a Business Manager I was involved in all aspects of running a Cosmetic / Aesthetic Surgery business particularly from both a Financial and Operational perspective, however it was during this time that I developed a specialist interest in Marketing, Social Media and Patient Engagement.
Following my departure from The Hospital Group, I spent two years in post as Head of Group Sales for DBG (Dental Buying Group) where I managed all aspects of the Sales function of a Dental Practice proposition. It became clear during my time working in dentistry that the average Dental Practice experiences similar hurdles as that of a Plastic Surgery or Aesthetic business. Competition in all sectors is fierce which is why I enjoy finding that niche, what sets a business apart from their competitors, the key is Brand/Service Awareness and Customer Engagement.
